1. Who We Are

Gloucestershire Mortgage Adviser ("we", "us", "our") is an introducer to FCA regulated mortgage firms, based in Gloucestershire. We collect your enquiry details and introduce you to authorised firms who provide regulated mortgage advice. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

We are an introducer to FCA regulated firms — we are not a lender and we do not ourselves provide regulated mortgage advice. (Once our Appointed Representative arrangement with Echo Finance is confirmed, this policy will be updated with our FCA registration details.)

2. What Data We Collect

When you complete one of our enquiry or callback forms, we collect the information you provide, which may include:

We also automatically collect limited technical and analytics data (see Cookies & Analytics below).

3. Why We Collect It (Lawful Basis)

We use your personal data to:

Our lawful basis for processing is your consent (which you give when you tick the consent box and submit a form) and our legitimate interest in responding to and following up on the enquiry you have made. Where we process financial details to assess your mortgage needs, we do so to take steps at your request prior to providing the service.

4. How Long We Keep It

In line with standard financial services practice, we retain enquiry and client records for up to 6 years. This allows us to meet our regulatory and legal obligations and to assist you with any follow-up advice. After this period your data is securely deleted.

5. Who We Share It With

We only share your data with parties necessary to provide the service you have requested. This may include:

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
